Lesley was one of the first people we met when we moved to Cratfield. She made us so welcome. We will miss her smiling face, our chats about decorating, our own book club, board game evenings, coffee and waving to her when we walked past the house on our daily dog walk. She was kind, always thought of others and a very good friend. So many happy memories. We will miss you Lesley.

We will miss Lesley’s friendship which we had enjoyed for forty years or more. Difficult to contemplate her absence! Her gentle and thoughtful nature accompanied her strong sense of fairness and justice and we shared many animated discussions about the state of the world and current politics! She always strove for a better world and for those less fortunate! Such admirable qualities which leaves us poorer now she is no longer with us but we will remember her with great fondness, warmth and respect.
